Gelato vs. Ice Cream
Did you know that gelato is the Italian word for ice cream? They both start as a custard base, but generally gelato contains a higher proportion of milk and a lower proportion of cream and eggs. Additionally, it is churned slower resulting in less air and an overall denser consistency than ice cream. The result is a delectable treat unlike any other.
